Soft Switch using Velcro and Conductive Thread

3V Coin Cell Battery

Conductive Thread

As you see in the video the construction of this type switch is quite simple yet effective. Two things I learned in this attempt: 1.) The loop section of the velcro can be difficult since the thread gets caught in the loops. Just be aware of this and you should have no problems. 2.) When stitching the thread into the velcro just make sure that when the velcro is connected the conductive thread will touch to make the connection. This can be solved by stitching a wide zig-zag to make the connection.
