The LilyPad Arduino Reading

It’s amazing how technology these days is a more approachable skill that anyone can start researching, to create new things, and how technology have been mixed with the whole craft movement that’s been going on from a time now.  Reading how the Arduino LilyPad was introduced to children, just amazed me, because things as complex as circuits are, are made more approachable to people, and not only that, but it’s the tool for us to create whatever we want to build.

Our roles in technology have changed, we can be now the authors of our own “tech gadgets”, and actually enjoy making them without feeling threatened, and mixing it with our daily objects and life routines.  Not only adults can have access to this information and tools, as we saw on this paper, kids are part of this fenomenom too, since they’re exposed to technology early on their lives and it’s part of it, making them fearless when manipulating any gadget.

At the end, technology now, has become a part of ourselves and how we express and want to be seen in society, as extention as individuals, it will send a message to other people of our life styles.
