Final Project Concept

After thinking up all kinds of lame ideas all day, I thought of this on the way home, and I kind of like it.  This is the Glowfish.

It’s a musical (I hope!) toy.  Pressing on the stripes of the Glowfish turns the EL panels on.  I’d like them to stay on for a bit by adding some capacitors.  I’m hoping to find some buzzers that are tuned to specific notes, or to build some kind of resonating structure to get them to hit specific notes.  So when you touch he various stripes, the chord progression would go from root-3-5-octave, or something like that, and the stripes would light up accordingly.  Pressing multiple stripes would allow you to play chords.

Not sure if I can finish this in the remaining time, but I really like the concept.
